fire Castle Rock

At 10:00am this morning a employee at the town of Castle Rock's park's and recreation department was burned on his hands while fueling a lawn mower. When the employee went to remove the fuel nozzle a spark ignited the truck and injured the employee. As the truck continued to burn the brake lines were destroyed and rolled down a hill into a concescion building lighting the building on fire. The fire was knocked out by 10:30am by South Metro Fire & Rescue and Castle Rock Fire & Rescue. The employee was transported to Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree with minor burns and was released by mid-day.
