With all this talk of H1N1 Flu I am wondering why a company such as McDonalds (specifically McDonalds of Johnstown) is making employees report to work while they are extremely sick with symptoms of the Swine Flu. How many unsuspecting customers are McDonald's employees infecting through the drive-thru? I have personally witnessed this practice as I just made my roommate quit his job that he held there as McDonald's management refused to excuse him from work when he came down with the H1N1 flu symptoms. You would think high-volume companies such as these would have some sort of plan of action to help prevent the spread of this epidemic and not require their employees to work shifts while they have high fevers, runny nose, wet-cough, etc. I just thought this was an interesting story that perhaps someone should look into.
