Celebration of the Heart
When: Saturday, February 27, 2010
7:00 – 11:00 P.M.
Where: El Jebel Shrine Center, 4625 W 50th Ave. Denver
What: A fundraiser celebrating Community Ministry’s service to the Denver community. Proceeds will go to support the efforts of Community Ministry to meet the basics needs of qualified people in Southwest Denver who are experiencing economic hardships and related problems. Community Ministry of Southwest Denver meets these needs by providing an emergency food and clothing bank. Utilities assistance is provided with funding from Energy Outreach Colorado. School supplies, Christmas gifts for children and Holiday food baskets are also provided by Community Ministry.
Anne Trujillo of 7News is the honorary chairperson for Celebration of the Heart. Prestige will provide entertainment. Activities include a silent auction and dancing. Hors d’oeuvres will be served and a cash bar provided.
Who: This event is open to people of all ages.
