When my Mom walks into her several doctors appointments, her church, her home, the store... wig on, smile on- you would never guess she was fighting the battle she is.
The “chemo glow” has made her skin shine even brighter than before and she is radiant to me and everyone around her.
She makes little of the battle she has survived and continues to fight hard with stage 4 breast cancer.
I stand in awe as I watch her pour out her life as a sacrifice to others during her own battle.
Her kids, Grandkids, co-workers, strangers, nurses- all being recipients. Her battle has only made her a more valuable, endearing, and sacrificial person- and I am changed forever having learned yet another valuable lesson from her through it.
