I would like to Thank Hearts Connection for chosing my son to participate in their program. Each year they choose a special child to go to the fair with the Bakersfield Firefighters. This year my son was chosen, he is a wonderful five year old. He has seizures, CP and Mildl MR. I knew this was a sure blessing from GOD. I just had a surgery several weeks ago and I did not know if we would even attend this year. So when I got the call from Hearts Connection I was very excitied. My son loves to dress up as a firefighter so I knew he would enjoy it. But not only did the firefighters take Jeremiah they took the whole family. Thank you. It was great watching the firefighters interreact with the children. Riding the rides with them and playing games. Thanks to Jason, Nathan, and Michael this was one of the best time my kids have had at the Kern County Fair. The firefighters split up and took the olders ones on one side and the other stayed with the smaller ones on their side. It was great! We usually stay all together because with 6 kids it hard for everyone to ride exactly what the want. But this time they had lots of fun. The men of the Bakersfield Firefighters THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. We could not have had this much fun without you.
