Adam Trotter and Kevin Schulte know there is only one way to bring you their original acoustic and harmonic blend of music – like a caravan – a wave of authentic sound, lyrics and song brought together for a common passion to praise Jesus Christ. Adam and Kevin are One Way Caravan, a Contemporary Christian Acoustic Rock group from Saint Louis, Missouri.
The duo has played together for over six years. They began their unique sound as college roommates at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri.
Since the release of their first album “Another Step Closer” in 2005, One Way Caravan has moved fans throughout the Midwest a step closer to God. By performing songs from their first 13 track album at national conferences and shows, like the National Catholic Youth Conference and Fellowship of Christian Athletes retreats. Adam and Kevin also performed at Rock the Light Musical Festival, Kansas City Wizards Faith Day (Arrowhead Stadium), Crossroads Music Festival, FOCUS Regional Conference and A Taste of Omaha. In 2006, One Way Caravan was the regional winner for the Artist Ovation/Word Label Group.
Often compared to the sounds of Shane & Shane and Monk & Neagle, One Way Caravan has shared the stage with tobyMac (Forefront), Superchick (Inpop Records), Family Force 5 (Maverick), Hawk Nelson (Tooth and Nail) and Marty Magehee (formerly of 4Him). They have also been featured in Christian Hollywood, and performed live on television in Kansas City, Missouri (KC-TV 5) and radio in Atlanta, Georgia (J93.3).
“Before anything we are Christians striving to glorify God. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has given us everything we have, we feel that this is such an awesome way to bring Him the praise He deserves,” says Kevin.
One Way Caravan’s new album, “Finding Rest,” is a reflection of their lives as “generation Y” – a time of longing for the next big chapter, but hoping to find comfort in His will. Through their lyrics, listeners find One Way Caravan’s passion for Christ to comfort that all too common unrest.
