Bascomb UMC has a long, proud heritage of serving the Lord in Cherokee county. Founded in the 1800's, it's the oldest standing church in the county ( and so is some of our equipment!). Vertical Reality, our praise & worship band formed about 7 years ago to serve the needs of "new" christians by offering a contemporary service at 9:00am on Sundays. This motley crew was truly put together with God's hand! Darren Palmer - worship leader and keys; Kim Stayton - co-worship and vocals; Jaime McLemore - vocals; Bryan Pinson - keys & vocals; Ron Russell - electric guitar; Brent Govin - accoustic; Calen Bouchard (not pictured) - bass and John Oneill - bass; Ernie Brown - drums. Come worship the Lord through music! Our name simply means that our true reality is not here on earth, but more "vertically" toward the heavens:)
Pray that the right church gains the blessings of this awesome AV system being offered through this contest. Moreover, pray that everyone in this "battle" will be blessed tenfold!!
