2nd.wav - Up and Coming Worship Band

2nd.wav (Second Wave) started quietly in the homes of two home school families. Savannah Wofford, A singer, her brother Russell, a guitar player and Noah Stephens, a keyboardist, started playing and writing songs together. A few months later, they invited two friends, Bassist Holden Fincher and Drummer Grayson Arias. The band began to gel and soon, they had a 30 minute set including a few covers and a could of original praise songs.
They made their debut at Concert in the Cul-de-Sac, the brainchild of Grayson's mom, Andi. "We put up a stage and a small PA in our cul-de-sac and invited friends and family. It was just for kicks." To everyone's amazement, around 200 people showed up and enjoyed an amazing performance including songs they wrote themselves, as well as covers of Smalltown Poets, Steve Fee, Hillsongs United, Cold Play, even Skynnard.
Since then, they have played at a school talent show, a county craft fair, the State Capitol and for 1,000 amped up high schoolers. Most recently, they led worship for a week at a church fine arts camp. They hope to record their first EP in the fall.
2nd.wav attends Northpoint Community Church and represents their student minsitry.
Vote them onto the big stage. We know they look very young for 18, but they've got the goods! Help them grow in their love of leading worship by giving them your support!
We're having a blast watching this gang grow up as a band. God's blessed them with some amazing talents and huge hearts. I can't believe we get to be their parents! Please lend them your support and send a link to your friends and family!

What a blessing to watch these kids grow musically and especially spiritually. They are great kids! We're so proud of them! They've become really fun Worship leaders.

Second Wave rocks! They led worship for a camp my kids attended this summer. We were all inspired by the band's uplifting praise and worship. Very impressive talent for such a young bunch of kids! Sweet spirit and worship-full hearts, as well.

Wow! The true measure of this band is to watch how they get the audience into the act! Power vocals, wailing drums, and great guitars, not to mention the "kool" keyboard, all work together to make this a band after God's own heart! Keep it up!

For an instant, when the video began, I thought I was hallucinating, as it's just not possible for kids that young to be that good, but since I don't do drugs, all I can say is "wow!" Amazing talent for their age. Amazing period.

Thanks so much for your support and comments! For those who asked, this was shot at Lanier Baptist Church. 2nd.wav led worship for the week during their Fine Arts Camp VBS program last month. They had a blast and grew a lot as a band and as leaders.

It is very difficult to remain unbiased about this great Band. After all, I'm the Drummer's Grandfather. So I'll just restrain myself and say, "THEY ARE FANTASTIC". What a sense of rhythm, it must be genetic and certainly inspired by God.
