As he sat down with EW to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Allen talked about his ape co-star.

Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine, the adventure game inspired by Tomb Raider from 1999, is not a typical Indiana Jones story. Leaving aside his off-screen distaste for his difficult stage partner, Allen had the time of his life doing Raiders of the Lost Ark and the fourth Indiana Jones film, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull almost 30 years later. However, unlike other episodes of Young Indiana Jones, Paris, October 1916, is known to be much more explicit than any other piece of Indiana Jones media (except perhaps for the novelization of the episode, which retains nothing).
