Marion is a city in and the county seat of Marion County, Ohio, United States. The municipality is located in north-central Ohio, approximately 80 km (50 miles) north of Columbus. Marion County comprises the Micropolitan Statistical Area of Marion, OH, which is also included in the Columbus-Marion-Zanesville, OH Combined Statistical Area. In the US, the county has a total area of 404 square miles (1,050 km), of which 404 square miles (1,050 km) is land and 0.4 square miles (1.0 km) is water.
It is the fifth smallest county in Ohio by total area. In the county, the population was dispersed, with 24.50 per cent under 18, 8.30 per cent from 18 to 24, 30.30 per cent from 25 to 44, 23.50 per cent from 45 to 64 and 13.40 per cent aged 65 and over. The median age was 37 years old. For every 100 women there were 106.90 men.
For every 100 women 18 years of age or older, there were 107.10 men.
